Between nature, forest and mountains around L’Escale in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, the Trail de l’Escalo offers 7, 11 or 30 km for an adventure at your own pace. Experience a village ambiance, fragrant trails and panoramas that make you look up. After the race, extend the weekend by discovering the Durance, Sisteron and its Citadel or the Lac de Serre-Ponçon for a complete Provençal immersion.
Le Trail de l’Escalo, it’s the kind of event that makes you forget the couch from the very first steps, between nature, forest and mountain around L’Escale, in the heart of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence 🏞️.
Here, you come to treat yourself and be surprised: trails that smell of pine, sections where you look up “just for two seconds” (and you stop almost), and that village vibe where everyone knows each other… even if it’s your first time 😉.
You choose your adventure à la carte: 7 km to kick off and enjoy without burning out, 11 km for a format that’s “pile like it should be,” or 30 km if you want the big escape version, the one that makes you say “OK, I’ve really travelled” ⛰️.
And after the line is crossed, you can take a stroll along the Durance to release some pressure, a jump to Sisteron and its Citadelle (view guaranteed, calves happy), a getaway toward the Lac de Serre-Ponçon to catch the blue vibe, or detour to Forcalquier to stroll and sit on a terrace like a champ 🧭.
You come for the race, you leave with a Provence-scented weekend: a bit of wood, a bit of rock, lots of smiles… and you in the middle, telling yourself that “the Escalo” finally made you rise to the top of good memories 🍷.
