In Nigloland Park in Dolancourt, Aube (Grand Est), the Nigloland Trail turns a day of attractions into a running race. Three formats are offered (8, 16 and 24 km) with a start under the big wheel and a course through the park and its surroundings, up to the finale under the encouragement of visitors and the Niglo mascot. After the effort, a buffet and access to the attractions to fully enjoy the day.

This amusement park, located in l’Aube in the Grand Est region, opens its doors for an exceptional race! Nigloland has built a strong reputation, becoming one of Europe's leading amusement parks for under a million visitors per year, not bad, right? Located in the very heart of Parc Naturel Régional de la Forêt d'Orient, its scenery in lush vegetation and its family-friendly atmosphere delight both kids and grown-ups, making it a must-visit park in France. 🇫🇷
Today, no big roller coasters or shows, it’s the Nigloland Trail that takes the spotlight! For a day, under June sunshine, the park’s attractions give way to a somewhat different audience. Indeed, for once, you won’t be running to dodge ride queues but to complete a running race ! On the program, 3 accessible trails are on offer : a first of 8 km, a second of 16 km and a final of 24 km.
Your day starts with a light warm-up with a group warm-up in a party atmosphere. The start is given under the Ferris wheel 🎡, and you’ll soon cross the park and its centuries-old trees. Then you’ll follow the adjacent trails that will lead you to small villages, vineyards and woods. It’s time to rejoin the park to finish your race amid the cheers of visitors and the hedgehog mascot “Niglo” 🦔. Your efforts will be rewarded, and doubled ✌️! First, a hearty buffet will wait to help you regain strength. It doesn’t end there! You’ll also get to enjoy the park’s attractions for the rest of the day. The pure definition of killing two birds with one stone 😎
If you want to test another type of race in the region, we suggest the Troyes Half Marathon. If you’re into theme park runs, you might want to check out the Disneyland Paris Run or the Marathon du Futuroscope, which isn’t in the same place, but is also very cool!
Well, you’d really have to be a big "niglo" not to come participate in this trail!
