In the magical setting of Tanlay, this trail invites you to run between the château, the Canal de Bourgogne and a lush park. Start from the château, with routes of 15, 33 and 60 km, alternating single-track trails and climbs for exceptional views in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The course offers magnificent scenery and an immersion in the local gastronomy after the effort, with gougère, wines and snails.
Un cadre féerique et une après-course gastronomique ! Tanlay porte mal son nom. Car non, Tanlay n’est pas moche : Tanlay est superbe. Viens rugir dans l’Yonne, en Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, pour une course baignée de nature, où tu seras bercé par le chant des oiseaux. Le trail de Tanlay, se déroule au mois de septembre, niveau météo c'est idéal. Ni trop froid, ni trop chaud, une période parfaite pour courir ! 🏃♂️
Pièce maîtresse visuelle de cette course : le château de Tanlay. C’est d’ailleurs d’ici que tu démarreras ta course, pour un parcours de 15 km, 33 km ou 60 km. Longeant le canal de Bourgogne, cet élégant édifice de l'époque Renaissance réunissait, il fut un temps les chefs de la Ligue protestante durant les guerres de Religions. Entouré d’un vaste parc verdoyant, il est classé monument historique. Il est même devenu incontournable si tu veux visiter la région. Mais ta course ne s'arrête pas là, tu te diriges sur un terrain de jeu plus propice au traileur que tu es. Sentiers monotraces, chemins forestiers, et quelques reliefs pour te réveiller les gambettes. Car oui, niveau dénivelé tu vas être servi, mais le plaisir du panorama exceptionnel qui t'entoure te fera rapidement oublier ta souffrance. Et parce qu’il faut bien rentrer un jour, tu retournes en direction du château où tu auras même la chance de traverser son parc pour rejoindre le village et la ligne d'arrivée. Durant tout le parcours, tu auras l’occasion d’observer des paysages magnifiques, le trail bénéficiant de l’un des plus beaux (si ce n’est le plus beau) sites naturels de la zone. Quelle beauté, Tanlay ! 😍
Et les à-côtés ? Ils sont tout aussi attrayants ! Des jeux sont organisés par des animateurs pour occuper les plus jeunes. Pour une récupération optimale, tu auras même de quoi te doucher et te faire masser après ton effort. Sentir bon pour profiter de la gastronomie locale c'est toujours mieux, l’occasion de goûter à la gougère, aux vins de la région et aux fameux escargots de Bourgogne. 🐌
Attention en revanche à ne pas être aussi lent qu’un escargot… Sous peine de rater le buffet à l’arrivée ! 😬
