From Saint-Jorioz, in Haute-Savoie, the Laudon Trail invites runners to immerse themselves in the mountain landscapes around Lake Annecy, with 3 distances (14, 25 and 42 km) and an elevation gain present regardless of distance. The course starts in the charming commune and climbs up to 1320 m on Montagne d’Entrevernes, offering splendid panoramas of the lake and the surrounding area.
In Saint-Jorioz in Haute-Savoie, the Trail du Laudon invites you to immerse yourself in the mountainous landscapes of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and discover sumptuous views of Lake Annecy 🏞️. Join thousands of runners for this trail in April that offers 3 distances: the Trail des Charmettes of 14 km, the 25 km of the Trail de la Bauche and the 42 km of the Trail de la Cochette. Regarding elevation gain, it won’t be a joke—it's going to be there no matter which distance you choose, so give it your all! 🏃
Your race will start in the charming town of Saint-Jorioz and take you along the flat trails on the left bank of Lake Annecy. You will also pass near protected natural areas such as the Roselières or the Hell Marsh. Pffff what a drag to have to witness such beautiful landscapes 😅 ! It’s not yet time to take a dip, so to whet your appetite to cool off after your race, we’ll raise the temperature! Get ready to crescendo up towards the Saint-Jorioz mountains. Then you’ll climb the steep paths, through trees and flora, up to the 1320 meters of elevation of the Montagne d’Entrevernes. We guarantee you stunning scenic viewpoints ! But that’s not all—you’ll also discover the villages of Duingt or the La-Chapelle-Saint-Maurice before crossing the finish line in true style! 🎉
If you still have energy at the end of the race, hop on a paddleboard to enjoy the calm waters and the tranquil landscapes of the lake. And if you’re hungry for more mountains or nature, you can always explore the Semnoz Peak or stroll through the Grande Jeanne Animal Park nearby. 🐵
