Come discover Champdieu, in the Loire, with the Trail des Ecoliers and its winding trails offering unexpected views for all levels. Choose 7, 16 or 27 km according to your desire and pace, in a village atmosphere that encourages exploration and self-improvement. After the effort, extend the experience by visiting the priory of Champdieu, the Vidrieux pond, or wandering around Forez, for a lasting memory.
The Trail des Ecoliers, your perfect excuse to play explorer in Champdieu, at the heart of the Loire, where trails hold as many stories as twists 🥾.
Choose your adventure: 7 km for a comfortable run without burning out, 16 km for a proper tour of the area, or 27 km to chase a smile that stings a bit… but lasts a long time 😅.
Here, the terrain starts a conversation: winding trails, views that open when you least expect it, and that “encouraging village” vibe that pushes you right when you need it 👀.
And after the effort, you stay in the area: go check out the Prieuré de Champdieu for a heritage pause that calms things down, head over to Montbrison to stroll and relax on a terrace, or head to L’étang de Vidrieux for a peaceful water-side walk to recover 🏰.
If you’re coming as a duo or with family, save some energy for a gentle stroll through the plaine du Forez, or a simple, perfect sunset along the village paths to end the day with something other than a bib in your head 🌅.
