In September, you’ll be aiming for the summits, and not just any summits—the ones in the mountains at the heart of the Valais canton ⛰️. So meet us in Ayer, for the Snowleader Trail du Besso, an event offering 2 distances full of color, in kilometers and elevation gain! 🤩 You can practically hear the trail lovers lick their lips! 🤤

Without further ado, here is the program for the Snowleader Trail du Besso : for enthusiasts and pros alike, you’ll be offered the “Trail du Besso”, 59 km and 5 800 mD+ or the Tour du Roc, which is made up of 25.5 km and 2 230 mD+ 💪. For the two distances, the challenge will be to finish before nightfall! 🌙 Ready to be convinced? Not yet? No problem, all the splendor of this event has yet to be revealed. In the heart of the five 4000, this extreme alpine trail connects the five huts of the back of the Val d'Anniviers using old alpine paths that are almost forgotten 🔍. Two glaciers and 4 passages above 3 000 m in altitude will dazzle you on the peaks of Zinal ⛷️. It’s precisely in this stunning ski resort that the start will take place. Many alpine athletes come here to train, but not at the same time, and not in the same discipline as you! 🎿 Speaking of the start, it is specially tuned to your level, at 3h or at 5:00 a.m. (if you have fewer than 600 ITA points it’s advised to start at 3:00, to ensure you stay within the time limit and take on the challenge) ⏰.

After the race, you’ll have ample time and the rightful reward to enjoy the surroundings 👀. You’re already in an incredible setting, so there’s no need to go far to feast your eyes! So why not extend the adventure? 🗺️ You can continue your sporty escape by exploring the trails of these charming Swiss mountains, but you can also, less than an hour’s drive away, explore the charming town of Sierre, known for its vineyards and rich cultural heritage 🍷. Also visit the Valaisan Museum of Vine and Wine, or simply unwind at the splendid Géronde Lake with its peaceful waters that will give you all the comfort you need after this tough challenge! 😎 For thrill-seekers, why not try a ride on the St-Luc Funicular that lets you enjoy stunning panoramic views of the Alps 🏔️.
