Trail du Louron

Register in Occitanie, more precisely in the Valley of Louron in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The race winds through several villages of the valley in August. On the program, two distances : the 25 km and the 11 km. The ball is in your court, now you just have to choose which race is made for you! 👍

The start of your race is in the village of Loudenvielle. You’ll begin with a little stretch through the village to get you warmed up. What makes the legend of the race is La Neste du Louron, a great blue lake. According to the myth, La Neste du Louron represents the tears of the heart that the mountain cried with joy. We hope you get the reference 😉 !!! You’ll be able to admire it from above, as you’ll overlook it. And even better, the peak of the race is to pass above the Lake, therefore to cross it. Enjoy a slight bend, but not too much—it would be silly to fall, anglers are active in the area 🐟 ! You’ll then leave the village to tackle the mountains of Val-Louron. The trails will be rocky, switchbacked and dirt paths, just perfect to strengthen your ankles and thighs 💪. Up and down will be the watchwords of your race! Keep an eye on what’s around you! Animals also want to trail 🐻! And by the way, you’ll be able to encounter some during your race. After the ascent of the mountains and the encounter with your new friends, you’ll descend calmly toward the finish line! 🎉
