The Trail of the Sault country to Belcaire offers an immersion in Occitanie in its nature and mountain version in Aude, with landscapes that will make you want to speed up or stop to admire. Choose 11 km or 25 km depending on your energy, with a course that plays with the reliefs and promises strong moments. After the effort, extend the experience around the Plateau of Sault, Ax-les-Thermes, Camurac and Montségur for a nice sporty and tourist break.
The Trail of the Pays de Sault in Belcaire, it's a lovely excuse to treat yourself to a big bowl ofOccitanie in its natural, mountainous version, in theAude where the landscapes make you want to speed up… or stop just to take it all in 🌲.
You choose your adventure: 11 km to treat yourself without burning out, or 25 km to go a little further for the “wow” and come back with stories for your calves ⛰️.
Here, you’re not just on a path: you play with the terrain, alternating stretches that roll along with moments when you say, “okay, this is the Pays de Sault, not the Pays du Plat” 😅.
And the best part is after the race: you recover in Belcaire, then treat yourself to a mini getaway nearby with the Plateau de Sault for a breath of fresh air, Ax-les-Thermes to soak in in a well-deserved hot bath, the Camurac ski resort to gain altitude, or Montségur and its castle for a finale that really wows 🏰.
If you’re coming as a duo or crew, it’s perfect: easy stroll, tasty break, knockout photos, and you slipping into “sport & travel” mode without overdoing it… except for the climb, obviously! 🥾
