Meet in Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, in the Seine-Maritime region, for the annual trail event in a late autumn Normandie vibe. Two distances are on offer in November: 11 km ( Nordic walking or trail running) and 30 km, on trails and earthen surfaces, with little elevation gain and passages through the Forest of Londe-Rouvray National Forest. The start is at the Gymnase de l’INSA, and the route stays smooth and enjoyable, perfect for a friendly athletic outing.
Rendez-vous à Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray, en Seine-Maritime, dans la région Normandie. La ville t’acceuille pour son trail annuel : le Trail du Rouvray. Cette course a lieu en novembre. Et à cette période, en Normandie, les températures sont fraîches. Prends aussi un k-way au cas où il pleut ☂️ ! Au programme, deux distances : 11 km, à faire soit en marche nordique soit en trail et 30 km.
Le départ de ta course se fait aux côtés du Gymnase de l’INSA. Ton parcours sera principalement composé de sentiers et de terre battue. Quelque temps après le début de la course, tu te retrouveras dans la forêt domaniale de la Londe-Rouvray 🌲. Puis, direction les champs et les forêts de la région. Ne t’en fais pas, tu n’auras pas beaucoup à monter, les dénivelés ne sont pas élevés. Le parcours du trail est sympa et roulant. Il s’effectue les yeux fermés (bon courage pour ne pas tomber 👀) ! Le Trail du Rouvray ayant lieu au mois de novembre, les feuilles mortes des arbres, orangés et jaunés sauront te remplir de joie 🍁. Il ne te reste que quelques zig-zag puis te voilà de retour à ton point de départ. Bravo, tu es arrivé !! 🎉
Si tu ne t’es pas assez dépensé, tu peux aller jusqu’à Rouen (évite en courant, c’est un peu long). Là-bas, tu peux visiter le musée des Beaux-Arts ou encore l’historial Jeanne d’Arc, qui retrace toute la vie de cette fervente demoiselle. Si tu veux encore plus d’altitude, tu peux monter au château Gaillard 🏰 situé sur la commune de Les Andelys.
On s’était dit rendez-vous à Rouen….
