Trail du Tacot

A trail through the forests of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté? 🌳 Come join us to plan your next weekend of expressions from Franche-Comté week-end in March 🌷. The association “ Les Escargots21 ” is organizing the Trail du Tacot 🐌 in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of Côte-d’Or ⭐️. Admittedly, it’s the “Escargots” that created it, but we’re counting on you to run like a hare 🐇 on these courses. Speaking of which, they’ve planned 2 routes 🏞️, short, and a total of 3 starts, including a walking option 🚶. You can choose between a trail of 19 km, or one of 12 km. For those who really want to go slow, you can also take the start of the 12 km by walking ! 🙂

As we told you, with two different routes, you have a smarter choice the most informed 😌. To help you a bit, we’ll present them to you a bit better 🎤. The 19 km route, actually runs closer to 18.6 km and totals 480 mD+ 📈. During your jogs you’ll go through the Milieux Forestiers et Pelouses des Combes de la Côte Dijonnaise 🌲, as well as near the natural reserve of the Combe Lavaux-Jean Roland, in the Chamboeuf forest🔥. Wow, that’s some stunning spots 😵‍💫. As for the 12 km, or rather, 12.6 km, with about 330 mD+, you’ll do a loop to the south of Gevrey-Chambertin ⬇️, in the Milieux Forestiers et Pelouses… We won’t repeat the name, but you’ll certainly be in the middle of the forest of the region 📍. And just to remind you, this route can be done in running, but also in walking ! 😁 In any case you’ll get a beautiful landscape and miles on your feet 🐾. But you’ll have to choose whether you end up out of breath 💨, or calm 🧘.

In the south of Dijon, in the east of France 🇫🇷, we promise your weekend won’t be all about this race 🏃. In Gevrey-Chambertin already, the grand vineyards of the town are an experience to live 🍇, continue your exploration at the castle 🏰 and at the Saint Augan church. As mentioned, Dijon is not far from here 😉. Strap in, you’ll have only 27 minutes north ⬆️, to reach your destination 🚗. Once parked, you’ll find parks, the Fine Arts Museum the Notre-Dame Church 🏛️, yes yes you’re in Dijon, not Paris, even if it’s easy to mix them 🤣. And you’ll also get to treat yourself to a delicious baguette with a piece of Époisses 🧀. We don’t promise fresh breath 🤢, but if you love cheese you’ll overlook it… 🙈 Of course, a beef bourguignon, best enjoyed in the mother region 🥘.
