The Saintger Trail invites you to Saint-Germain-Laprade, at the gates of Puy-en-Velay, in Haute-Loire, for a nature and adventure immersion. Varied routes alternating forest trails, clearings and viewpoints, with formats from 8 km to 42 km and children’s races for the whole family. After the effort, discover the historic center of Puy-en-Velay and its iconic sites nearby.
The Saintger Trail, it's your nature rendezvous at Saint-Germain-Laprade, at the gates of Le Puy-en-Velay, where the Haute-Loire smells of the forest and adventure 🌲.
Here, you come to treat yourself on trails that alternate between woods, clearings, and small viewpoints that make you want to slow down… just to start again 👀.
You choose your format the way you pick your daily menu: 8 km to warm up, 14–16 km to treat yourself without burning out, 26–33 km to reach for a big breath of fresh air, and 42 km if you want to write your own local legend 🏁.
And if you come with family, the kids races get everyone in the mood: here, we run, we laugh, and we head home with stories to tell at the table 😊.
After the effort, I’ll guide you two steps from the start: go stroll around the historic center of Le Puy-en-Velay, climb up to Notre-Dame du Puy for the view, say hello to the Saint Joseph statueor sit on a terrace by the Place du Plot to savor the moment.
