Trail des Lavières

You want real trail, the rugged kind? 🌲 Then head to Savigny-le-sec, in Côte-d'Or, in the heart of the Bourgogne Franche-Comté to take part in the trail des Lavières. Here, no asphalt ❌ but a route that is 100% paths and singletracks through the nature that will make you come home completely... dry 🥵.

In June, it's in the Savigny-le-Sec forests and of the Épagny that you're going to shake things up... with a smile! 🤪 The program includes three distances for three times the sweat 💧: For short-distance lovers, there is the "Savinois" : 10 km for 230 mD+, perfect to start the discipline without pressure 🧘. Otherwise, you can opt for the "Trail du Puits" and its 600 mD+ spread over 18 km, a bit tougher 🤠. And finally, the big brother, the "Trail des Lavières" : 29 km for 900 mD+, a concentrated mix of technique, surge and forest 🌳. For walkers, a 10 km hiking lets you enjoy the trails without a clock or over-enthusiastic cardio 🫀. But here, we’re not just here to push ourselves. We run for the good cause : €1 per participant goes to the association Team EFV forte contre le cancer, which organizes sports events for cancer research 🩷. So you’re signing up for a trail that’s supportive and committed and just that should make you crack... 😇 And since we're in Côte-d’Or, we won’t send you home empty-handed! You’ll be able to leave with some local products (and all of a sudden, you’re motivated 👀). You’ll even be able to treat yourself on-site with a refreshment stand and a food truck at the finish 🌭. Bonus 🎁 : a free raffle for all runners... with perhaps a little gift basket waiting at the end! 😋 Honestly, for a trail at just €1 per kilometer, it’s hard to beat that 😎.

Apart from the village name, there’s nothing dry here 😈. The region’s gastronomy is incredibly indulgent, by the way, in Dijon you’ll find the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie 🥘. You can try Bourguignon cuisine featuring oeufs en meurettePoulet Gaston-Gérard 🍗, boeuf bourguignon 🥩 and escargots 🐌. It’s delicious, rich, and that comforts after a race: the PERFECT combo 🤝.
