The Saint-Nicolas Night Trail takes place in Hénin-Beaumont, in the North, under the glow of headlamps and in a festive atmosphere. Choose from 25, 18.5, 11 or 5 km and enjoy fireworks and musical performances to pace your evening. Get ready to tackle the nocturnal trails of Artois and discover this trail in a small, intimate setting, at the heart of northern winter.

The Saint Nicholas Night Trail, everything will be lit by headlamps 💡. You’re meeting at the end of November to align with the most festive nocturnal trail in Hauts-de-France! 🥳 Dress warmly, because in Hénin-Beaumont it will freeze! 🥶 To heat up the atmosphere at the start line, a fireworks will illuminate the sky 🎆 and musical performances will have you dancing under the stars! 🕺 Bring your best moves, you’ll need to warm up before tackling the trails of the Artois, a traditional Picardy land 😎.
Lace up your trail sneakers 👟, switch on your headlamp and take on one of the evening’s routes 💪 : 25 km, 18.5 km, 11 km or 5 km, you’ll have plenty of choices! 🤗 Whether you’re an expert of nature’s hidden paths or a beginner in the sport, there’s no reason to back out 🤪. Plus, the event is intimate, so no traffic jams to slow you down or deprive you of the finish line refreshments 🍽️. It’s the perfect chance to test your limits and push yourself while enjoying the adrenaline of a small-group race! 🌟 Still, be careful not to follow the crowd without relying on the markers, or you might end up in the water body of the Parc des Îles... whereas swimming isn’t on the program 😂.
The Saint Nicholas Night Trail is also your chance to improve your marks for the Artois Trail Challenge! 🏆 15 trails to discover the region, with races over more than 20 km and a single final standings... You’ll need to turbo to reach the podium! 🥇
But before strutting with your medal, extend your weekend and explore Hénin-Beaumont and its surroundings once the sun is up! 🌞 You can return to the Parc des Îles to enjoy this green haven once wildlife 🦆 and flora wake up 🌄.
