This isn’t the opening of an old grimoire, but the scenario awaiting you in the Hauts-de-France region! 🎃 In October, the Loisinord site Loisinord in Noeux-les-Mines, between Béthune and Lens, becomes a theater of chaos TOTAL for Halloween 🎃. Forget the friendly strolls collecting candy, because here we’re talking a genuine invasion where your only mission will be to run for your life 🧟. If you’re afraid of the dark or of the dead, this is the perfect moment to test your sprint reflexes and your mindset against denizens of the hungry creatures 😈. The vibe promises to rival the best horror films such as 28 Days Later, where every dark corner of the structure could hide a monster ready to hunt you 💀. We recommend lacing your running very tightly and adjusting your headlamp, because the hour of collective panic has sounded for the survivors 🔦.

The horror weekend unfolds over two distinct days with a program built to push your heart rate through the roof 🫀. On Friday, it’s time for the Zombie Night Trail, a 10 km nighttime race that's especially intense where speed will be your best ally to outpace the monsters in the darkness ⚡️. You dive straight into the dark bowels of Loisinord, discovering a synthetic ski slope transformed into a real corridor of dread ⛷️. The next day, the vibe shifts to tactical mode with the Zombie Orientation Alert 🧭. The concept is ruthless: you have 1h on the clock, in teams of 2 to 6 people, to uncover as many hidden beacons as possible before getting caught🫣. It’s a treacherous, ultra-pilly gaming ground where you alternate between survival sprints, desperate escapes, loud shouts, and nerve-wracking giggles with your fellow victims 👯. For those with nerves of steel, the orienteering race is open to kids (with an adult to protect them, they’ll come back alive, right 👀). The course is made up of mini-adventures and HUGE smiles 🤗. And then, if you’re not a runner, you’ll have the unique opportunity to sign up as a zombie for one night to spread terror 🔦.

After crossing the finish line in one piece and avoiding a fatal bite, the organization eases your post-trauma crash with a memorable party 🥳. No way you’re going to freeze from cold sweats; we all gather as survivors around a DJ set blasting music to exorcise the fear (it's close to miiidnight 🎵). Hungry stomachs will find immediate comfort from the food trucks parked at the heart of the event 🍔. It’s the perfect moment to kick off a delicious recovery session with crispy waffles and comforting crepes, right? 🥞 Once the calm returns, enjoy your time in the mining basin to debrief your night exploits, analyze your orientation strategy missed or simply savor the chance of still being alive 🍻.
