L’Occitanie au printemps, c’est le paradis pour les traileurs ! Dans l’Aude, le Trail Quillan te permettra de découvrir les Pyrénées. Point de départ d’excursions réputées, le village est pittoresque et te garantit une course nature authentique. 🍃
Pour partir à l’assaut des Pyrénées audoises, les organisateurs te proposent de participer à une randonnée ou à 3 trails. La randonnée fait 11 km avec un dénivelé positif de 350m, tout comme le premier trail. Le trail de 18 km accuse un dénivelé positif de 700m. Enfin, le trail de 28 km fait 1600m D+. À chaque fois, il s’agit d’une boucle au départ et à l’arrivée d’un cadre prestigieux : Le Château de Quillan. 🏰
En ce qui concerne le parcours, le Trail de Quillan fait la part belle aux sentiers au milieu d’une végétation préservée. Comme tu l’as deviné, c’est très vallonné. Tu courras au beau milieu du cirque de Quillan, avec de nombreuses montées et descentes techniques 🏃. Là-haut, tu auras droit à de magnifiques points de vue, tels que le Belvédère du Diable, au cœur des gorges de la Pierre Lys. Tu seras entouré de sapins, de pins, de chênes et même de garrigue. 🌲
Après la course, on te recommande de faire le plein de cochonnailles du Pays de Sault et de la Montagne noire, de poulardes du Lauraguais, de cassoulet et de vins AOC. Le mariage parfait en somme. 😋
