Just steps from Lloret de Mar, the TriTour Tossa de Mar invites you to close out the circuit in Catalonia under September sun. Two formats are available: Sprint (750 m swim, 20 km bike, 5 km run) and Olympic (1.5 km swim, 40 km bike, 10 km run). A course blending sea, mountains and city, finishing in Tossa with views of the Cadiretes Massif, then relaxing on the Costa Brava and exploring the Vila Vella walls.
Splash the water! 💦 These are the words that will mark the start of the final triathlon event of the circuit TriTour in Catalonia 📍. After Deltebre, Cambrils and El Pont de Suert, you’ll set your bags down at Tossa de Mar 🧳, just a stone’s throw from Lloret de Mar, the city of fiestaaa! 🥳 Under September sun, you’ll weave through disciplines by the sea 🌊, in the mountains, in nature and in the city... 🏙️ We’ve seen worse scenery, right? 😎
To enjoy this postcard-perfect setting 🖼️, two events are available to you: a Sprint triathlon and an Olympic triathlon! The Sprint, it’s the shortest format with 750 m swimming, 20 km cycling and 5 km running! 🏃➡️ It’s perfect for those who love speed or for beginners in the sport! 👶 For the Olympic, you’ll need a bit more time with 1.5 km of swimming 🏊♀️, 40 km of cycling 🚴♂️ and 10 km of running. Swimming in the Mediterranean, cycling in the mountains, running on flat roads: if that’s not a dream event description? 🤩 Indeed, cycling will burn your calves with climbs, but the view will be worth every penny the pedal stroke! 📈 You’ll reach the top of the Cadiretes Massif (or the Ardenya), at 519 m above sea level! ⛰️ You’ll enjoy a breathtaking view over the province of Girona before heading back down to Tossa to finish it all! 🏁
And because you’ll have given it your all during your race 💪, we’ve set aside a relaxation program to enjoy the Costa Brava! 😎 To learn a bit more about the lands that will host your weekend feat 🏆, a stop at the remparts de la Vila Vella will be indispensable! 🤓 To learn even more about the city’s history, you’ll need to head to the Villa romana dels Ametllers or the ruins of Sant Vicenç Church ⛪. Heads up for the ruins: it’s going to be a climb! 🥵 If the TriTour Tossa de Mar pulled you through, you can head to the beach and unwind on a sunbed with the sound of the waves 💆♂️.
