In the heart of July, La Brive Tulle Nature gathers running enthusiasts in Corrèze, in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Favorable to trail running with 5 distances, including 5 km, 11 km (La Mia), 29 km (La Testarda), 40 km (La Tiada Verda) and 81 km relay, not to mention the 11 km and 24 km hikes. After the effort, savor the bucolic panoramas and the local gastronomy that complete this nature and sports event.
La Corrèze, c’est une terre de présidents de la République mais aussi une terre de trail. La Brive Tulle Nature, in the heart of July, it’s a big gathering for running fans in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. You won’t be disappointed, there are all the ingredients for a truly beautiful trail. 😊
Organizers are betting on diversity! In the lead-up, there are two hikes of 11 km with 260m D+, and 24 km with 615m D+. For trail runners, 5 distances are offered. First, the 5 km discovery with a gentle positive elevation of 110m D+. Then, “ La Mia ” of 11 km with 210m D+, “ La Testarda ” of 29 km 730m D+, “ La Tiada Verda ” of 40 km with 840m D+ and finally “ L’Ultra Brive-Tulle Nature ” of 81 km with 2100m D+ which you can do in relay. 👊
It may seem small at first glance because we’re not in the middle of the mountains, but you’ll experience a succession of climbs and descents and the elevation will quickly add up! If you’re a cross-country cross-country, you’ll also find your happiness among the Corrézien bucolic panoramas. Forests, streams with wading passages, rock, wooden plank bridge. It’s stunning in every way 🤩. It’s beautiful but far away!
After your journey, it’ll be the perfect moment to rest on a terrace with all that Corrèze offers at its best in terms of gastronomy: pot-roasted pork, mique, millassou, farcidure and apple flognarde are as many specialties to savor. 😋
