This is some heavy stuff! The Ultra-Trail Côte d’Azur Mercantour, it’s an international event that brings together the best in trail running. In Saint-Martin-Vésubie, in the Alpes-Maritimes (Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur), come bite a piece of the legend under July sun! ☀️
Because there must be something for everyone and also because the strength of this race lies in bringing together all trail enthusiasts, not just the best, 8 events are on the program: 5 km, 10 km (550 mD+), 30 km (2100 mD+), 50 km (4100 mD+), 75 km (5500 mD+), 95 km (7150 mD+), 120 km can be run as a relay and 160 km.
It’s pure mountain 🏔 waiting for you, with the region’s most stunning scenery: alpages, pine forests, ridges, rocky trails and summits offering spectacular viewpoints. You’ll climb the Cime de la Valette de Prais (2496 m), the Come de Piagu (2338 m), the Mont Pepoiri (2674 m) and the Mont… Caval (this is almost a tribute!). You’ll wind through many villages such as Beausoleil, La Turbie, Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, Menton, Belvédère, La Colmiane, Castellar. 🏘
