Hikers, runners, and trail runners are invited to challenge themselves on the 4th edition of the Urban Trail de la Butte Montmartre 🔥. This charity and intergenerational race with an exceptional course, has become a staple in the Île-de-France sports calendar 🗓. Organized by the Fondation du Souffle, the UTBM (not to be confused with UTMB around Mont Blanc; not quite the same elevation gain or distance 😅) aims to raise awareness among a broad audience about the importance of physical activity for better respiratory health 💨. This race for breath donates all registration fees to various research projects.

Ready to inspire and exhale on 7 km and take in the views 🤗? You won't be disappointed—the route is simply incredible! It will take you to discover Montmartre in motion, while you walk, and with music 🎵! Yes, the organizers did not do things halfway; each kilometer will be rhythmized by songs that pay homage to the mythical district, to fuel your drive to reach your goal on your Butte 💪! But be careful not to sing too loudly to the tunes of Dalida, Gainsbourg or Nougaro 🎤, you must save a bit of breath to tackle the 180 m of elevation gain and the 1200 steps that lead to the Sacré-Cœur 📈. Before reaching this final milestone, the highlight of your challenge, you'll pass through iconic Montmartre spots to soak up the atmosphere of this legendary district. The vines of Montmartre, the Place Dalida, the Passe-Muraille, the Moulin de la Galette, the Théâtre de l’Atelier, the Halle Saint-Pierre, the Bâteau-Lavoir, the list goes on. One thing's for sure, you'll have plenty to admire along 7 km 👀.

You can especially grab a salad or a coffee at the pretty garden of the Musée de la Vie Romantique 🥗. A tiny, timeless gem in the midst of the district’s buzz!
