La marche Braille Trail Walk for Independence est organisée par Lions Services, une organisation à but non lucratif qui soutient les adultes malvoyants. Les participants peuvent se joindre à la marche en personne ou virtuellement pour parcourir un sentier pavé, avec l'aide de guides bénévoles. Les fonds récoltés soutiennent la mission de Lions Services qui consiste à autonomiser les personnes aveugles grâce à la réadaptation professionnelle et à des opportunités d'emploi.
