WINTER RUN Olomouc

Don’t lift your foot in winter and come feel the athletic energy in Moravia! Winter Run Olomouc (a stage of the national winter running series beloved by Czechs) is a fantastic chance to test your fitness in a chilly, yet incredibly warm atmosphere. When historic Olomouc wears a white coat, hundreds of runners challenge the cold, proving that the running season lasts all year round.

Traditionally, you have the choice between two dynamic winter distances: 4 km and the main race of 8 km (Winter Run). The race village and the charming course are typically set in stunning historic urban parks – Smetanovy sady as well as at the exhibition site Výstaviště Flora. The wide snow-covered avenues lined with old trees invite a fast race, and the crisp air gives a serious energy boost. At the finish, you’ll be rewarded with something unique: the iconic trophy – a heavy, legendary winter motif medal – as well as a cup of comforting hot tea.
