Cette course d'endurance à pied ou en marchant se déroule sur des chemins de terre pittoresques et vallonnés dans le nord-est du Vermont. 20 % des frais d'inscription et les dons supplémentaires encouragés sont reversés à la Halo Foundation, qui aide les personnes et les familles locales touchées par le cancer à faire face aux dépenses liées à la maladie. Des tables de ravitaillement sont installées le long du parcours et proposent de l'eau, des boissons énergétiques et du sirop d'érable.
