TALIHARJA VANAKURI est un défi d'ultra-endurance hivernal unique en son genre : 101 km à travers les marais gelés et les forêts du nord de l'Estonie, principalement dans l'obscurité. Que ce soit à pied, à ski ou en fatbike, les participants traverseront ce paysage isolé pendant la longue nuit estonienne, guidés uniquement par leur lampe frontale et leur GPS. Partant de la base sous-marine soviétique de Hara et arrivant dans le village d'Aegviidu, le parcours est conçu pour tester non seulement votre endurance, mais aussi votre autonomie et votre résilience. Une option « Pehmo » offre une arrivée à 51 km au centre de vacances de Viitna pour ceux qui recherchent une expérience plus courte (mais tout aussi impressionnante). Les coureurs doivent être préparés : les températures peuvent chuter, les sentiers peuvent être recouverts de neige profonde ou de glace, et l'obscurité dure plus de 16 heures. L'équipement obligatoire, la navigation et la sécurité personnelle sont essentiels. Tous les participants qui termineront la course recevront un prix unique et un diplôme, et un traceur GPS assurera le suivi en direct tout au long de l'événement.
