Le Tantalus 10-Mile Challenge à Honolulu propose un parcours conçu pour les athlètes qui aiment les dénivelés et la vitesse. Partant de Makiki Heights Drive, près de l'école Halau Kumana, cette boucle vous emmène dans une ascension exigeante sur environ huit kilomètres le long de Makiki Heights Drive et Tantalus Drive, avant de vous récompenser par une descente rapide sur Round Top Drive. La course se termine par une dernière ascension difficile sur Makiki Heights Drive, qui vous poussera à finir en beauté. Pour ceux qui préfèrent un rythme plus tranquille, un départ anticipé est proposé aux marcheurs et aux coureurs qui choisissent de terminer en plus de 2 h 30, bien qu'ils ne soient pas éligibles aux classements généraux ou par catégorie d'âge.
